Atop Pine Mountain

UPDATE

Governor Ivey has issued revisions to the Safer plans which will allow us to open businesses and other facilities using common sense and social distancing.

Sanitizing measures will be taken Monday morning, May 11th, allowing opening of the Library, picnic pavilions, playgrounds and park restrooms. Water fountains will remain inoperable at this time.

During this limited reopening period, the 6′ social distancing orders from the Governor will remain in effect in all these areas.

Complete updated regulations can be obtained at alabamapublichealth.gov

Thank you, Governor Ivey and other officials, for allowing us to begin reopening our society.

Westover Day in the Park

EVENT CANCELLATION NOTICE. Even though we are seeing unprecedented changes to our lives right now, we still have many things to be thankful for. We should remember those blessings when we face what are very disappointing decisions that have to be made. We are so thankful for our Day In The Park Committee, who have been working to plan our May 2nd event since January. We have decided collectively that the event must be, in the interest of Public Safety, as well as the uncertainty and unknown about how our lifestyle will be affected in the next 4 weeks, be canceled.
We regret that WESTOVER DAY IN THE PARK IS CANCELLED MAY 2ND.
Thank you, to our Vendors and participants, for your support. We’ll see you in May 2021.
